Bernofinn-2.5 (Bifenthrin 2.5% EC)

Bernofinn-2.5 is a highly effective insecticide formulated for termite control in buildings and wood protection applications. It is widely used for pre-construction and post-construction anti-termite treatments, creating a protective chemical barrier that prevents termite infestation in structures.

The product acts through contact and stomach action, providing rapid knockdown and long-lasting protection against termites. It is also recommended for the control of wood borers (Powder Post Beetles) in plywood, veneer, and wood products.

Mode of Action

Bernofinn-2.5 acts through contact and stomach action. Termites are affected when they come into contact with treated soil or surfaces or when they ingest treated materials.


Dosage

For pre-construction and post-construction anti-termite treatments:
  • Required concentration: 0.05% active ingredient
  • Dilution: 20 ml of Bernofinn-2.5 in 1 litre of water

Application should be carried out in accordance with IS 6313 (Part 2) standards for termite control in buildings.

Used in existing buildings where termite infestation is detected.

  • Treatment of masonry wall voids
  • Injection treatment through drilled holes
  • Treatment of upper floor infestation areas
